About
No-Code Plumbing is an independent site about the unglamorous part of no-code work: moving data between tools, getting documents and reports out of them, and making sure nothing is lost when something breaks.
Who we are
No-Code Plumbing is published by Pottech Inc. (株式会社ポテック), a Tokyo-based company that designs and builds information systems for healthcare, including AI-assisted electronic medical records and information-security (ISO/IEC 27001) support.
The site is edited by Takuma Arimura, Representative Director of Pottech Inc.. Takuma has served as CTO and product manager at healthcare startups building medical information systems, and from January 2023 to March 2025 worked at Japan's Digital Agency as a product manager for healthcare digital transformation, leading development of a standard electronic medical record system.
Alongside that work, Takuma has launched several services quickly on top of Airtable and Notion. Running real services on these tools is where their limits show up: documents that can't be generated in bulk, data that has to come in from email and forms, and the question of what happens if a base is deleted.
That experience is why this site exists. Most real-world systems are held together by the plumbing between tools — exports, imports, backups and syncs — and that plumbing is where things quietly break. We write about it from the perspective of people who build and operate data systems for a living.
How we research
- We quote official documentation directly when it says a feature is not supported, and link to the source.
- We verify features and prices against the vendor's own pages, and date them.
- When we've run a tool hands-on, the guide says so and shows what we saw.
The full process is on How we research and test.
